Situated at the heart of Frankfurt, the English Theatre has more seats than any other english-speaking theatre on the European mainland. It offers a forum for intercultural exchanges within the international community and therefore plays a major role in Frankfurt and the area. Beyond that, the English Theatre Frankfurt also supports the education of young people with its wideranging "Educational Programme für Young Adults".
With 280 shows per season and 70.000 visitors per year, the English Theatre is an established brand with a diversified programme. Every season, it produces three plays and one musical whose topics deal with current situations, reminice about the past and dare to thrill and excite their audiences. The castings and rehearsals for the productions take place in London or New York before they premiere in Frankfurt.
