Artists from the fields of cabaret, comedy and music present their latest programme here. Cabaret greats like Gerd Dudenhöffer, Richard Rogler and Missfits were regular attractions here when they were yet unknown in the Frankfurt region. International comedy stars such as Nickelodeon, Rob Spence and Les Bubb years ago prepared the ground where their present contemporaries like Ingo Appel and Michael Mittermaier now perform.
Twice annually the theatre presents its own production of a three-week variety programme with national and international artists, which is aimed at the entire family. Regular puppet plays thrill children, a series of readings of European classics addresses a literary audience and the foyer is the appealing scene of exhibitions by visual artists.
