The three exhibition rooms housing the local history collection show excavated pre- and early history artefacts, various documentary elements of the deed of 880 (first reference to Schwanheim) on wall charts and then historical items dating from mediaeval to modern times. Alongside writings from the ecclesiastical and educational fields, works by sculptors and gilding experts are shown. Graphics and photos supplemented by records from community archives finally depict the historical development of Schwanheim.
