St Peter youth & culture church
The redesigned church of St Peter in Frankfurt’s city centre –equipped with modern light and sound engineering – provides a place to meet for young people from all over the Rhine Main area. The programme of events for 14- to 25-year-olds is comprehensive and multi-faceted. Since the official opening at the end of 2007, some 10.000 young people have attended services, workshops, plays, concerts, parties, and pastoral care for youngsters. The three programme areas on offer are culture, workshops and religious services.
The St Peter concept offers space, a stage and technical equipment, all ready to go. You can visit and use the hall accommodating 900 people, 2 workshop rooms, a media room, and a large outdoor terrace. All young people are welcome, regardless of religious affiliation or nationality.
The St Peter project was made possible by, and continues to receive support from, dedicated and strong partners: Evangelische Kirche in Hessen und Nassau (Evangelical Church of Hesse and Nassau), Evangelischer Regionalverband Frankfurt am Main (Association of Evangelical Churches in Frankfurt am Main) and the City of Frankfurt am Main.
