The Robert Schumann Society Frankfurt has set itself the goal of cultivating the musical legacy of Robert
Schumann, awakening understanding and enthusiasm for his music and acquainting audiences with
contemporary music as he would have wished. One of the Society's key assignments is seen in supporting
young artists.
Six chamber concerts are arranged every year, which, remote from the bustle of large concert organizers, are
attended by an enthusiastic public. The concerts start at 19.00h on each last Thursday of the autumn and
winter months in the rooms of the Villa Bonn, Siesmeyerstr. 12, Frankfurt am Main. Admission is free,
although donations are always welcome.
The unusual about these concerts is the subsequent meal together with the interpreters, where not only
members but also guests are cordially welcome.
