Located in the Frankfurt district of Hoechst, the Justinus Church is the oldest in the City and one of
the oldest buildings north of the Alps. The Carolingian basilica dates from around 830, the Gothic high
chancel was built in the 15. century by the Antonian Order. The Onimus Organ of 1736 also stems
from the period of the baroque renewal. In 1988 the organ was renovated and extended as concert
organ by the Kuhn Company. Apart from the winter months, numerous concerts are held in the
Church, for example within the programme of the Hoechst Organ Summer. A comprehensive offer of
CDs with organ music from the Justinus Church is available in the sacristy.
