Is a choir of the Evangelical Church Community Frankfurt/Main-Bornheim. The choir was founded in 1877 and is the oldest of its kind in Frankfurt. It is an amateur choir with 40 active singers. We sing regularly at church services and hold two annual concerts.
The Johanniskantorei cultivates a wide repertoire of spiritual and world church music ranging from works of the baroque to contemporary compositions. We prepare for concerts once or twice annually with intensive rehearsal weekends in and outside Frankfurt.
The Johanniskantorei cordially invites you to its rehearsals. Trial singing is not necessary, a knowledge of musical notes is advantageous but not mandatory.
