The Frankfurt Autumn Days for New Compositions, a forum for a broad spectrum of aesthetic principles and approaches for the creation of new music, are held every two years. With the organization of this festival the con tempo Culture Association, an acknowledged non-profit making group of composers, musicians and patrons, has set itself the goal of promoting new music and establishing it in the districts of Frankfurt as an integral component of cultural life, as well as setting up an interface between musicians, qualified ensembles, composers and the public.
With the presentation of first-class and changing concerts as the outcome of close coordination between musicians and composers, the Association con tempo - Kulturverein für zeitgenössische Musik sees a key contribution to making new music accessible to a wider public.
