Built in 1909, the Festhalle Messe Frankfurt, with its cantilever cupola in steel and glass, was regarded as
an epochal architectural symbol. Known fondly by the locals as their "front parlour", it is indeed for
many people today one of the loveliest function venues.
The cornerstone for this success was laid in 1986, when the Festhalle underwent refurbishment to a
modern multipurpose hall to fulfil the technological demands of today's major events.
Whether for rock concerts, opera performances, sport events or circuses, international congresses or
product presentations, AGMs or glittering balls - the Festhalle is a many-sided talent providing the fitting
setting for any type of function. More and more national and international corporations choose the
representative ambience of the Festhalle for out-of-the-ordinary presentations.
The combination of Festhalle, Forum, Congress Center and the adjoining exhibition halls offer organizers
an attractive, functional and agreeably contrasting function venue. The Festhalle enjoys excellent
connections to public transport networks, is close to autobahns and can easily be reached on foot from
Frankfurt's Main Station.
