The Catholic Parish of St. Bonifatius in Frankfurt’s Bonames district is one of most active parishes in the field of music within the diocese of Limburg.
The St. Bonifatius Church Choir, founded in 1933, has a varied repertoire from polyphonic choral scores from the early Baroque up to and including contemporary choral works. The choir’s activities range from the musical accompaniment of services in the parish church up to annual trips within Germany and abroad with concerts in churches at the respective destinations.
The repertoire of the Chariot Gospel Choir includes songs of praise and worship as well as spirituals. The choir accompanies services and performs at weddings, parish festivities and takes part in concerts.
The Voice & Rhythm Band is accompanied by guitars, recorder and piano and sings mainly modern one and two-part religious songs as well as Taizé songs. The group accompanies family church services and performs at Advent concerts.
