The adult choir of the Anglican/Episcopal Church of Christ the King in Frankfurt has around 20 active members from all over the world and of all ages, including beginners and experienced singers.
The choir is an integral part of the church services, singing music of all styles and periods on three out of four Sundays a month. In addition, the choir sings Christmas Carols at the Weihnachtsmarkt (Frankfurt’s Christmas market) every year as well as organizing sing-along evenings of notable works and even participating in professional concerts, such as the "Höchster Orgelsommer" series at the Justinuskirche in Höchst.
Past concert tours have taken the choir to a number of venues outside Frankfurt, including Berlin (Wilmersdorf, Alt Tegel and Charlottenburg); Hamburg (Michaeliskirche and St. Thomas Becket Anglican Church); Mannheim (Jesuitenkirche) and the Benedictine Abbey of St. Hildegard in Eibingen, Rheingau. The choir is always happy to welcome new, interested singers. Rehearsals are conducted in English.
