The MMK and its dependancies regularly arrange children’s tours and activities, where children from age 4 and teenagers can design things themselves and simultaneously discover modern art. Tours and workshops can also be booked for school classes, where pupils take on the roles of video artists or radio commentators interviewing exhibits. And between exhibitions there is frequently an opportunity for a glance behind the scenes to experience how an exhibition is staged.
Birthdays can also be celebrated – where children play museum photographers or art detectives – and holiday programmes enjoyed in the Museum.
