Whether pirates, magicians or dwarfs, whether detectives and princesses: once a month all these adventurous or magical figures occupy Literaturhaus. The “Children’s Book Sunday” invites to discover history, fairytales or even junior detective stories. Authors or illustrators of children’s books read from their books, sketch figures that spring from their pages or tell how they get the idea for the story. In Literaturhaus young bookworms can hunt through the woods with Ronja the robber’s daughter, fool around with the Sams, track down gangsters with Superintendent Lightning or shoot goals with the “Wild Men”.
Creative writing workshops are offered for teenagers.
