The Frankfurt Opera offers a special opera for children: children from age 6 can enjoy a brief live performance of a short opera. Always present is “Labbo” – the oldest dustcloth of the Frankfurt Opera! In parallel youngsters from age 4 can take part in the early instruction music programme, which includes handicrafts, dancing and making music.
Opera Underway is a programme of opera performances for children held in the schools. Schools can also participate in an Opera Project. It includes a tour through the opera house, attending rehearsals and a live performance.
Frankfurt Opera also offers special operas for families, concerts for children and child supervision.
