With its extensive deposits and collections, the University Library Johann Christian Senckenberg Frankfurt am Main is one of Germany’s major scientific libraries. It integrates the functions of a scientific library for the City of Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region, a university library with numerous state functions and a specialist library for the humanities within the pan-regional range of literature availability. Regular exhibitions and readings are also held.
