With active media advisory and film equipment, the "MEWI" offers the possibility of a critical media reflection especially to consume–orientated kids and youths. Of major interest is the project "pupils making their own TV program". Here, pupils change from their usual passive part to the active part of the maker. One important aspect about the "MEWI" is the demonstration of manipulation techniques and possibilities with image and sound editing.
