Alongside the services of an occupational association BBK Frankfurt also arranges 17 events annually, both on its own premises and at other locations. They include juried, theme-related group exhibitions, in which guest artists may also participate, as well as exhibitions in interchange with art societies, groups and colleagues from Germany and abroad.
BBK artists alternately accept invitations to the corresponding guest locations. Events usually include a flanking programme with lectures and discussions, music and performances.
Interested laypersons can take part in courses and workshops initiated by the individual members.
Moreover, BBK also arranges external presentation projects. For example, Germany-wide BBK events, participation at the Hessentag state festival, at the Museum Riverbank Festival and not least at the Frankfurt Christmas Market, where, following a long tradition, stands in the Römer and exhibitions in the Paulskirche lend the Market a special identity.
