The Frankfurter Universitätsmusik e.V unites a wide range of music ensembles active in the areas of instrumental and vocal music under the leadership of the Universitätsmusikdirektor (UMD) Dr. Helmut Bartel:
• Collegium Musicum Instrumentale (Academic orchestra of the Goethe University)
• Collegium Musicum Vocale (Academic choir of the Goethe University)
• Chamber choir of the Goethe University
• Chamber music of the Goethe University
Students of all faculties, teaching staff as well as guests may join the different ensembles and are cordially invited to do so. The fruits of the ensembles’ regular rehearsals will be presented three times a year, at the end of each semester and at Christmas, in the form of public concerts at the university’s main auditorium.
