Alte Oper Frankfurt offers an extensive programme aimed at fostering young people’s enjoyment and appreciation of classical music. It includes concert series for children and youngsters, such as the Familienkonzerte presented jointly with the Frankfurter Museums-Gesellschaft e.V., the Hessischer Rundfunk series Junge Konzerte des Hessischen Rundfunks (in cooperation with the Jugend- und Sozialamt der Stadt Frankfurt and Alte Oper Frankfurt) or the series PEGASUS - Musik erleben!, amongst others.
In addition, Alte Oper Frankfurt offers reduced rates of admission and special subscriptions for young concert goers, such as the Jugendabo (until age 21) or, for school and university students, the Schüler- und Studentenabo (until age 27).
