Patricia Leinhos, producer, choreographer and performer, experiments in her dance productions with the reduction, isolation and variation of the prevailing aesthetic material. For example, body movements from daily life are analyzed, fragmented into their components to give rise to minimalist motion motives that form the fundamentals of the choreographies. Categorized and newly arranged, these fragments are merged into a new totality depending on the choice of theme. The essence of this approach opens up new paths to a variety of topics, perspectives are transformed, sensuous channels become newly coded. The original theme constellations appear in a new light.
