Alongside a number of guest performances the “Cellar Theatre” ensemble presents three to four own productions annually.
Proximity to the audience is and always has been a philosophy of the 99-seat theatre. Lots of inspiration, criticism and new ideas always arise in discussions between ensemble and audience after the performance. The venue is a lovingly designed clubroom, which is the foyer during performances. This room is also used by young artists and, since the beginning of 2002, it forms the forum for the studio stage “Maleen”, which is held regularly on the last Sunday of a month.
