In 2007 Wolfgang Spielvogel (former theatre “Primadonna/Schwerer Held”) founded the “Frankfurt Author’s Theatre” with a new idea.
The work of various playwrights living and writing in Frankfurt is produced here on stage. Spielvogel thereby opened a treasure trove of texts from the awareness of life and intellectualism in our city - intersection point and marketplace of worldwide movements, allowing the coming together and integration of quite different origins and cultures.
The programme creates interplay and communication between familiar and brand new texts from Frankfurt’s intellects and pens with new productions and plays of Spielvogel.
