The German Albert Schweitzer Centre was founded in 1969 in Frankfurt am Main and, in its function as museum, archive and research facility, it is unique. With a permanent exhibition the museum vividly presents the life of Albert Schweitzer, the medical doctor, musician and theologist – with numerous pictures, sound recordings, letters, books and items from his everyday life.
