The WH Jazz Quartet has performed since around 1993 and plays predominantly in greater Frankfurt. Appearances at the Frankfurt Museum Riverbank Festival, Literatur im Römer etc. The group performs modern jazz from the sixties and seventies. Compositions are by John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter etc. The group's line-up is: piano, tenor sax, drums and double bass.
Members:
Peter Pack, tenor, born 1964, studied in Arnheim and Cologne. Various projects, including soloist with the Jazz Ensemble of the Hessische Rundfunk.
Udo Brenner: double bass, born 1962, studied at the Frankfurt Musikwerkstatt. Various radio productions and CD recordings.
Giovanni Gulino, drums, born 1956, autodidact, also plays in the Frankfurt music scene.
Walter Haimann, born 1952, studied at the Frankfurt College of Music and under Bob Degen. Active in the Frankfurt scene since 1978.
