Is a mixed choir comprising ca. 80 active singers. The choir belongs to the Evangelical St. Thomas Community Frankfurt am Main/Heddernheim and is proud of a 100-year old tradition. Choir members stem from greater Frankfurt and distant parts of Hessen.
The repertoire of the group covers vocal music of all epochs, in particular oratorios, motets, cantatas and masses. The singers present the results of their committed work to an enthusiastic public several times annually. The “Thomaskantorei” also participates in the arrangement of religious services. Choir activities also include concert trips – also to other countries, e.g. France, Italy, Switzerland.
