From the Opera Ball to the official launch of Lufthansa’s new Airbus A319, the Clan Pipers are omnipresent. From a lone piper for your family festival to the complete Pipe Band for your street party or corporate event, we are happy to pipe for you.
The Clan Pipers were founded by Peter Bergschmidt in 1974 in Frankfurt am Main as one of the first German bagpipe groups. Not only are we the oldest band of its type in Germany, but meanwhile also the best and most successful. Under his capable direction the band followed the clear principle of participating in international competitions and thus utilize the regular gauging with competition to guarantee a high musical standard.
The number of active players has now risen to more than 40 enthusiasts with a high proportion of young people.
