Trinity International Concert Choir (TICC) e.V. was founded in 2011 as a project choir. Since deciding to continue as a concert choir it has become well established in the Frankfurt area. The choir is affiliated to Trinity Lutheran Church in Frankfurt, an international, English-speaking congregation. The choir’s membership reflects Frankfurt’s multicultural society: at present around 50 singers from 12 different countries enjoy making music together.
The international mix also determines the style of the weekly rehearsals. Although nearly all singers speak German, the rehearsals are conducted primarily in English. This approach enables “internationals” – especially people who are working in Frankfurt for a few years (but sometimes stay on afterwards) – to find a musical home in the Rhine-Main Region.
