Sankt Katharinenkirche

The St. Katharinenkirche is associated with such famous names as Georg Philipp Telemann, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy - they have all played in Frankfurt's principal Protestant church. Today, the Church is the significant centre for church music. With its three-manual Rieger organ from the year 1990, it possesses an instrument of unique beauty of tone, the choir of St. Katharinen is one of the most reputed in Frankfurt.

Whether in the "30 Minuten Orgelmusik" every Monday and Thursday at 16.30h or in the evening concerts of the cycle "Musik in St. Katharinen" - here at Hauptwache at the city centre is where music happens.
