Sängervereinigung 1875 Seckbach e.V.

This choir is a distinguished traditional association. A newly formed "rejuvenation committee" introduced a "modernization programme" that has now given the association added attraction, particularly to young men, women and families. Thanks to performances in the local applewine inns "Zur Krone" and "Zum Rad", at the "Budge Foundation" and several indeed spectacular concert events with prominent guests like "Konduettina" and the "3 Monkeys and a Dog", the choir enjoys a reputation that extends far beyond Seckbach.
The vocally powerful men's choir and the women's choir, newly founded in March 2007, now also sing works by Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams, Heinz Rühmann and Charles Aznavour and attract enthusiastic audiences.
Both choirs rehearse and perform independently with a line-up of 30 to 40 women and just as many men. A mixed choir is not planned. Always welcome are new singers and supporting members who help to finance the association's work.
