Around 30 women all enjoy communal singing and are open-minded for all forms of music. They sing what they like: a cross section through all centuries, seasons, languages and moods – from the Renaissance to music of modern times. Vocal and breathing exercises at the start of each rehearsal instil confidence in those with yet little experience of choral singing.
At the performances on diverse occasions (concerts, fellowship singing, Christmas markets, carnival events etc.) the applause of the audience is not only our tribute for diligent rehearsing, but also kindles enthusiasm and motivation to repeatedly tread new paths. For example, in recent years the choir has also performed our own concerts with considerable success. Here the choir designes everything ourselves, from admission tickets and posters via the complete stage set to choreography - another challenging field for creative women.
Sociability is also an aspect that is not neglected. For example, the choir arrange excursions and once annually a “Choir Weekend”.
