The Frankfurter SingGemeinschaft 1949 e.V. has established a name at a high level as amateur choir in the Frankfurt choir scene since its foundation.
The repertoire includes spiritual and secular compositions from all eras through to contemporary music. The Frankfurter SingGemeinschaft entertains its public in two to three concerts per year. It also frequently works together with other choirs and orchestras to present major works.
The choir consists of around 70 active amateurs, who possess highly different ranges of previous musical knowledge and experience. Consequently voice training is not neglected during the weekly rehearsals and even intensified at rehearsal weekends shortly before concerts.
