The Evangelical Church Cantate Domino is notable for its architecture: a bright, very pleasant room illuminated from above, always inviting to give palpable feeling to the repeatedly preached words of God's friendliness and also giving churchgoers the opportunity of experiencing this for themselves.
Well known and indeed famous is the church's Ahrend organ, which is highly suitable for baroque music.
Regular church services: normally every 1st Sunday of the month. Evensong at 6.30 pm and regular service every 3rd Sunday of the month at 10.00 am (with Holy Communion during even months).
Concerts find an ideal setting thanks to the church's excellent acoustics. The FRANKFURTER SOLISTEN (under Vladislav Brunner jun.) make 4 guest appearances annually, above all musicians from Frankfurt Opera who wish to play under their own direction in smaller ensemble.
The FRANKFURTER KANTATENKREIS sings twice annually and holds rehearsals in Cantate Domino.
GUEST CHOIRS, INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLES AND ORGAN SOLOISTS round off the programme.
