Fotorgrafie Forum Frankfurt was established in 1984. It is promoted by the non-profit making Support Group "Fotografie Forum Frankfurt im Leinwandhaus", the association numbers more than 300 members.

Board members are Werner Kolligs, Chairman, Petra Olschewski, Deputy Chairperson, Arno Schäfer, Treasurer, Armin Müller-Merkert and Celina Lunsford.

Goal of this private initiative is to make all aspects of photography accessible to a wide public, to promote the use of photography in all spheres of public life, to communicate information on all themes of photography and to present photographs and publications.
