In coordination with teachers and their relevant disciplines Filmforum Höchst offers school events and seminars. They can be organized for mornings or afternoons. In addition to the screening of the selected film a cinema seminar also offers the possibility of a subsequent discussion. A film professional directs the seminar, discusses and analyzes the screened film with the children or teenagers and is subsequently available for a general discussion with the audience.
Educational film screenings and programmes address children of all age groups (classes 1 to 13) and all types of schools.
Schedule:
After a brief introduction of the film topic the film is screened for your class. Afterwards a film discussion and an outline of theme-related problems take place with the film professional, for which 30 to 45 minutes should be planned.
