International Forum for Design Ulm (IFG)

The IFG was founded in 1987 as successor institution to and in the spiritual tradition of the Ulm College of Design of the Ulm College Foundation for Design. It plans and arranges conferences, seminars and workshops on design, architecture and other themes relevant to design and makes them accessible to a wide public by publication.

Awareness for socially important themes that directly or indirectly influence our intellectual, social and political environment forms the cornerstone for the interdisciplinary and pan-thematic work of the IFG Ulm. The Forum sees itself as a central coordination point for designers wishing the develop their skills further and seeking future-oriented information.
