The German Packaging Competition is awarded by the DVI, the German Packaging Institute. The DVI is thereby the executive body in cooperation with the Packaging Alliance Germany and RG Verpackung in RKW e.V. Entry is open to designers, manufacturers and users of packaging, of packaging materials, packaging elements and packaging aids, of individual, collective and display packaging as well as manufacturers of packaging machines. In addition, the category »Prototypes« is open to work by school pupils, trainees and students. Prizes and distinctions: a prize of EURO 1.000 was awarded in the year 2003 for the younger generation.
