The Frankfurt School for Clothing and Fashion is an institution that groups together various school forms which concentrate on practical instruction in the textile branch. In addition to a Technical College and an Occupational Training College for the Clothing Industry, the School maintains a College for Clothing Technology and offers the possibility of an occupational basic training year, whose curriculum corresponds to the occupational training instruction of the 1. apprenticeship year in the clothing industry. This can then be followed up by a course in the Occupational Training College leading to the professional qualification dressmaker.
