The Design Zentrum Bremen has existed since 1990. Commissioned by the Bremen Senator for Economy and Ports, this institution serves primarily to promote regional design. The Centre’s goal is to make design an indispensable element of quality and sales promotion.
The promotion of design in the State of Bremen has the institutional support of the Design Zentrum Bremen and the Design Labor Bremerhaven. Since 1995, both institutions have been incorporated under the Bremer Design GmbH. The Design Zentrum Bremen and the Design Labor have established their reputation by a series of innovative design projects.
