Museum of Applied Art

In the Museum of Applied Art all materials such as textiles, paper and metal can be analysed. The hands-on programme covers tours of discovery through the Museum, for example a Dragon Hunt and a Cookery Club. In addition to exhibition suitcases for treasure hunts and items to touch, smell and listen to, there is also a popular RoboLab, where a small robot is constructed, holiday programmes and a special workshop round off the extensive offer.

Thematic guided tours are available for kindergarten and school classes on the various design epochs with appropriate workshops, for example, paper-making. Children’s birthdays also feature prominently and depending on mood one can, for instance, create a mask for a fancy dress ball or learn Chinese characters.
