The Junges Museum Frankfurt focusses on themes relating to city and cultural history. Exhibitions are designed and presented specifically for children and the exhibition room is regularly transformed into exciting and appealing adventure landscapes. Young visitors are encouraged to become active and to experience the exhibition in its true sense by discovering, understanding and learning. And the hands-on principle not only applies during the museum visit, but also in workshops where handicrafts and artistic challenges call for children’s creativity. They can even take their first steps in electro-technology, process photos on the computer and record a radio broadcast. Furthermore there are project week programmes, family Sundays, open workshops, holiday workshops and children’s birthdays in the Museum.
