Jutta and Alexander Rasor from Frankfurt am Main established a foundation on 11. December 1995 that awards the Johann David Passavant Prize every three years. The Prize serves to promote scientific work on the collections of the Städelsche Kunstinstitute and the Liebieghaus and has a value of Euro 5000.
