Since its founding in 1947, the gallery ’s multifarious programme has focussed on contemporary art.
Between five and six exhibitions annually show work by Elvira Bach, Rainer Gross, Stefan Hoenerloh, Sigrid Kopfermann, Hernández Pijuan, Stefan Plenkers, Hans Peter Reuter and Stefan Szczesny. Classical modern artists are also regularly presented, for example, Erich Heckel, Alexej Jawlensky, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff.
