Frankfurt Music Academy

The frankfurt music academy has been an officially licensed vocational school since 2005, subsidized by the Hesse Ministry of Science and the Arts and the Hesse Ministry of Culture.

The curriculum covers all areas, from elementary music education (early learning for babies and toddlers, parent-and-child classes), instrument and singing lessons, instrument sampler courses, ensemble tuition, vocal coaching and music history and theory right up to university level.

The FMA cooperates with a number of Frankfurt schools, including the Elisabethenschule, the Paul-Hindemith-Schule, the European School, and the Erasmusschule, as well as with the Jewish Community of Frankfurt.

Together with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, the FMA offers students the opportunity of gaining an internationally recognized diploma in their chosen discipline. Furthermore, the FMA cooperates with the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts in offering a Diploma in Instrumental/Vocal Teaching.
