Junges Museum Frankfurt

In 1972, a museum within a museum was opened especially for children in Frankfurt's Historical Museum. It is one of the first children's museums established in Europe and its exhibitions are conceived specifically for children. The exhibition room of the Junges Museum is regularly transformed into exciting and interesting adventure landscapes. Important is that each child can also try things out, investigate and enjoy a hands-on experience. In courses and holiday programmes additional activities are offered with the focus on arts and crafts.

For families visiting the Museum on autumn and winter weekends there are regular open workshops, family Sundays and the play shop to join in the action. The Museum also offers various other events such as summer holiday funtime, Junges Museum underway and children's birthdays.
