Kulturothek, an association of historians and art historians, has existed since 1990. The intention of Kulturothek is the professional and scientific processing of Frankfurt's municipal history, which is presented in various forms as a service to an interested clientele.
On Sunday afternoons, Kulturothek offers interested individuals city tours on special themes, such as Jewish Frankfurt, skyline and modern architecture, women, Goethe and criminal history, as well as on entertaining subjects such as literature, lovers or fairy tales. These city tours may be booked variably by groups. Scientific publications, exhibitions, flanking events for exhibitions, lectures and seminars are also part of the program.
