“Lostgens’” was established in early 2004 by a group of artists. This self-managed experimental space aims to encourage originality, creativity, individuality, as well as to promote contemporary arts in Kuala Lumpur. It provides an alternative space for innovative exhibitions, performances and lectures. “Lostgens’” aims to be a balance to the hectic capital city life and a platform to support a multicultural and multi-layerd artistic atmosphere. The residency-studio and the residency -apartment are situated directly in the house of “Lostgens’” in the city centre of Kuala Lumpur near China Town. The cooperation is supported by Goethe-Institut Malaysia.
